Believe

I believe
fate occurs
when we
point toward
the direction

Our web
of life birthed
when we
each hold our
individual expression

Held intentions
carried further
along our song
when not
lingering in reflection

I believe
fate occurs
when we
point toward
the direction

  1. Your rhythm is ALWAYS just so flawless…as though the writing in itself was effortless (I know better!) Fantastic piece…I have found that some webs are stickier than others and can keep me from turning my head to that original direction…such is life…but the fight is always worth it

  2. I like the rhythm of the repeated slant rhymes, and the beginning and ending stanzas–nicely structured, a pleasure to read.

  3. Once, biking from Virginia, I stopped, made a call, said I’d like to come back for a few more days…voice on phone spoke: “Steve, turn yourself around, point yourself in the direction of Florida–get on your bike and ride, boy. Ride! (True!)

That is why I resonated with,
    and LOVE these lines:

    “Held intentions
    carried further
    along our song
    when not
    lingering in reflection!

    THANK YOU!

    Also like the word: Extremophile–grin!
