Li-Quiddity

By and bye we end
as the incidental products

tested and measured over
time for myriads of affects

our glass houses half full
slow leak of our matter

out of wounded parts
losing our Li-Quiddity

we’ve been pressed
with the must haves

wanting to live the ads
for more than a century

now it all looms
on fiscal cliffs

and we are either
this percentage or that 1

creasing yet another reason
to hate each others view

they herd and so
could not listen

hushed by all the voices
competing for the pen

who is going to write
your fairy tale ending?

how long are you going
to die there and pretend?

see your holes
and begin to refill them

fitting circles into your
squarely rooted theories

fill them with the expanse of
your fingers stretching open wide

and give chance to peace
in pattern to your inner side

  2. Ha! Politics and poetry DO fit–unlike circles into squarely rooted theories.
Brilliant handling of your viewpoint of today’s US news, without touching world-wide behaviors.. I glad to have found this one tonight.
    Thanks.
    PEACE!
