Our visit to the Four Corners region of Northwestern New Mexico certainly left us as travelers in the other-wordly. Reaching the Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness (pronounced Bis-tie), commonly known as the badlands. Over 41,000 acres of the bizarre awaited us as we approached the wasteland after traveling miles of washboard riddled dirt roads.   1. I spent some time in the four corners region, Farmington, Aztec, Durango. It’s an amazing, mystical place. I’ve traveled throughout most of the US and currently live in the UK, but I’ve always said it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.
